💬UniChat

UniChat is MyUniSpace's integrated communication tool. It was designed to centralize exchanges within an organization while providing essential features.

🧭 Interface & navigation

UniChat is structured in three main columns :

• Left column: your conversations

  • List of all your contacts and groups active.

  • Suggestions of members to add (automatic if you belong to an organization).

  • Button "+" to add a contact by email address or create a new group.

• Center column: the chat area

  • Displays all messages exchanged, with:

    • Message reactions

    • File previews

    • Call history

  • Composer area with keyboard shortcuts and quick editing tools.

• Right column (context menu): info & actions

  • Details about the selected conversation

  • List of group members

  • Management actions: rename, add/remove members, appoint administrators

👤 Add contacts

You can add any user registered on MyUniSpace by entering their email address via the button +.

• If you are a member of an organization, internal users are suggested automatically.

• Approval is required before you can exchange messages.

👥 Create a group

To create a group:

1. Click on + > Create a group.

2. Select the members to invite.

3. Give a name to the group.

The group creator is automatically administrator. They can:

• Add or remove members

• Rename the group

• Promote another user as co-administrator (right click > Appoint admin)

📞 Calls, video and screen sharing

From the top-right menu of a conversation, access:

• 📞 Audio call

• 📹 Video call

• 🖥️ Screen sharing

These features are available in groups as well as in one-on-one conversations.

During a video call:

• You can enable/disable camera and microphone.

• The interface shows participants in a clean, dark and ergonomic layout.
